New Campaign Seed
Not much is known of the other races of our world before the Calamity. There is sparse mention of others but from the tomes we have found this is our findings and thoughts.
Half-elves – Where ever elves and humans live they will mate and make more of these. Not a race of their own, yet here we are. They can still be found, though not in the numbers they once held.
Half-orcs – Rarely encountered. Reports say half-breeds are not born healthy and rarely make it to adulthood. Peace pity the souls of any born of the union of Orc and Man.
Kobolds/Goblins/what-have-you – Yes. The beasts still roam and thrive. Despite their size they are nearly a larger threat than Orcs. Goblins are crazed and willing to throw themselves into un-winnable fights as meat is meat and they are more than willing to cannibalize their own. Kobolds still roam and either our books are wrong or they Calamity seems to agree with them. They are half again as large as the tomes we have state. Why would they have grown?
Aasimar – Thought to be the children of angels and mortals. How can they exist if angels and gods don’t? If they ever existed there are none to be found now.
Tieflings – Similar to Aasimar though instead of angels it’s now devils. Again, thought to be gone if ever real in the first place.
Elemental Kin – Oreads, Sylphs, Ifrit and Undine are believed to exist still, though they are not often seen and even then the sources are not entirely reliable. Still the sightings do match up with descriptions so they are listed.
Dragons and kin – Again the description given us is dubious at best. Taken at face value, Dragons, like Aasimar and Tieflings, no longer exist if they ever truly did. Some of their kin, such as wyverns still take wing occasionally but they tend to stay away from populated areas.
